Club History

The Knoxville Football Club is a competitive soccer club founded in 2000 based upon the founders’ desire to teach life lessons through soccer.   All of its teams are coached by licensed coaches, most of whom hold at least a D license granted by the Tennessee State Soccer Association.

Some of the major milestones in the Club’s ten year history are:

2003 The Club hosted its first tournament

2004 Brandon Tarr, a Knoxville Football Club player, was selected to the U-15 National Team

2005 91 Liverpool (Boys) team earned the Club’s first D1 state championship, and has repeated 5 straight times2005 Merged with Tennessee Elite Soccer Club

2006
KnoxCrush Academy created

2006-07 90 Arsenal (Boys) and 89 Force (Girls) teams win consecutive D1 state titles

2008 93 Blue (Boys) crowned R3PL Champions and advance to the quarter-finals of the Southern Regional Championships in Dallas

2010 91 Liverpool (Boys) end their club careers with a fifth straight state championship and an R3PL championship

The Club’s commitment is to use its resources to provide world-class training, develop first-rate facilities, and engender a passionate love for the game of soccer.  While the players, coaches and staff strive to succeed at the highest possible level, the development of the player as a person is emphasized first and foremost.
