With nearly two decades of performance training experience, Vincent Martin, CPT/PES, has established himself as one of the top performance trainers in the United States. After being an All-Southeastern Conference Track and Field Athlete, Vincent took his passion for fitness to the next level by working side-by-side industry leaders in speed and strength development. These experiences in fitness and performance, coupled with Vincent’s many years of corporate sales, as well as University of Tennessee Athletics department experience, made the next logical step of business ownership seamless.
Vincent received his Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Strength Training Certifications from the American Aerobics Association International/International Sports Medicine Association (AAAI/ISMA) as well as the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Vincent is CPR/AED certified. Vincent is the Founder and Head Performance Coach of VBodies Fitness and Performance, a sports specific training company which offers dynamic performance training based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Vincent trains a variety of clientele such as pro-sport athletes, martial artists, and coaches.
Vincent continually educates himself with the methods of some of the top performance coaches in the industry. He has learned techniques and theories from Tom Tellez (Carl Lewis, etc.), Loren Seagrave (LSU dynasty, and Velocity Performance Creator), Bill Parisi (Parisi Speed School) …among many, many others! Vincent is a traveling lecturer on speed development and speed dynamics.
Well versed in a variety of disciplines, Vincent’s passion lies within performance enhancement training, and postural distortion and corrective exercise (Core). Vincent is not only a teacher/coach of performance; Vincent still actively competes in various athletic competitions across the country and world.
